Samtec started in 2003 when our founding team noticed a recurring problem in the telecom supply chain: engineers were spending weeks searching for the right connector, comparing datasheets across dozens of suppliers, only to discover the product they ordered did not quite fit their application.
"We believed there had to be a better way. If someone simply asked the right questions upfront, we could match engineers with the right connector in hours instead of weeks."
That belief became our operating model. Every inquiry starts with a technical conversation. Our team does not just take orders; they ask about your fiber type, your frequency range, your environmental conditions, and your volume timeline. Then they recommend the best option from our catalog, or design a custom solution if nothing fits.
Today, 950 team members serve customers in 52 countries. Our product line covers fiber optic, RF, coaxial, and terminal connectors. But the principle remains the same: find the right connector, faster.
